Yolanda Sonnier, Director of Marketing and Promotions

Yolanda F. Sonnier, a native of Inglewood, CA, is an Entrepreneur, Attorney, Wife and Mother. She holds a B.S. degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor.  While in law school, Yolanda was the editor of the law school newspaper and received a Dean’s Citation for her excellent service to the school.

Yolanda is co-founder of her prestigious law firm in Baltimore, MD.  Her firm specializes in family law, child advocacy, entertainment and general civil litigation.  Protecting the vulnerability of those in need and advocating for what is right motivates Yolanda in her law practice.  In particular, Yolanda is concerned about protecting children and promoting their development, success and happiness.  This concern has been furthered advanced by Yolanda’s participation in several non-profit boards of directors centered around children and youth, in particular, A Step Closer Foundation, Inc., Challengers Independent Living, and CASA of Baltimore County.   In addition to her board participation, Ms. Sonnier has been solicited by Judges and Masters to chair and participate in committees to improve Juvenile Court in Baltimore City.  

Besides the practice of law, Yolanda has been instrumental in the planning and implementation of her firm’s annual holiday party for hundreds of children.  At the party, the children have an opportunity to have an exciting time, enjoy lunch and receive a gift for the holiday season. In addition, Yolanda coordinated her firm’s retreat, which included speakers, workshops, a luncheon, and time for massage therapy and meditation.  Yolanda has likewise coordinated captivating dinners, luncheons and other special events.

In all her roles as a lawyer, event planner, and business owner, Yolanda has successfully marketed her law practice, the events planned by her organizations, her jewelry business and herself.  Despite all Yolanda’s accomplishments in her leadership, management and entrepreneurship roles, being a wonderful wife and mother is her greatest credential of all.
